JUNIOR CLASS The Junuor class entered Berthoud Hugh School un the fall of l95Z wuth 27 members Durung the past year we lost Molly Lopez and gauned Donna Martundale On the nught of December ZO the class presented a three act comedy entutled Funders Creepers Muss Whutney and Johnny Nolde were each presented wuth a guft from the class for theur cooperatuon un helpung make the play a success A float was entered un the Homecomung Parade The theme was V for vuctory un 43 and V for vuctory today It was decorated un purple and whute and took furst place The Homecomung Queen attendant was Sandra Thornton Durung the year the class had the concessuons for one football game two basketball games sold Berthoud B puns basketball puns and Berthoud Spar tan stuckers On May 2 the class put on the Junuor Senuor Banquet and Prom honor ung the Senuor Class The theme for both banquet and prom was Enchanted BOX SOCIAL Island Presudent Vuce Presudent Secretary Sponsor Student Councul Always CLASS OFFICERS Kenneth Gentz John Hahn Jo Ann Adler Muss Whutney Ruchard Schleuger Robert Starck Howard Buehler John Hahn CLASS MOTTO be Sharp Always be Natural But never be Flat CLASS COLORS Purple and Whute CLASS FLOWER Amerucan Beauty Rose On February 5 the Junuor Class sponsored a box socual whuch was held un the hugh school audutoruum Mr Bull Warnock of Loveland was the auctuoneer for thus event A total of S30 IO was made to add to the Junuor s fund VALENTINE DANCE On February ll the Junuor Class sponsored a Valentune Day dance whuch was held un the hugh school gym Each class un the Senuor hugh elected a gurl to run for Valentune Queen Those elected were Vurgunua Stevung Senuor Vurgunua Starck Junuor Aluce Sheffer Sophomore and Leota Adams Freshmen Penny votes were cast and the wunner of the contest was Vurgunua Starck Leota Adams was runner up The Junuors uncreased theur fund by addung Sl-4 30, the proceeds of the dance to theur fund ' 1 F' Il ' ll ' ' , . , . . .
