As the student executive body of the school, the Student Council deals with problems of the school as a whole. It is organized to pro- mote worth-while student activities, and is represented by members of the different classes, who report regularly at class meetings on the activities of the council and discuss and solve problems relating to school activities. This year the Student Council has sponsored National Assembly programs and several school dances. Benefits from these dances are the Student Counci1's contribution to the school project. The Student Council has also sold refreshments every Wednesday night at the Spartan Youth Center, Berthoud's recreation hall.
