Sr , N The Sophmore class decorated the gymnneium for the ' Ssye S Freshman Reception and made the dance programs, A float was entered in the home-coming parade, S All enjoyed a roller skating party at Greely on lovelber 15 1946 Everyone took part in decorating the hole-room for Christmas X During January the class enjoyed an ice-skating party with refreshments afterwards at the home ef Mildred Bushler. On larch 7 a party was held at the High School This included a treasure hunt Bingo ether games and refreshments. The Second year Latin Class held its annual banquet on the Idea of March at the home of Plvllis Albrecht Invitations were in the forn of time worn scrolls Place cards were silver helmets with feather plumes llenus were miniature slates Invitations and lenus were written in Latin. MUSIC CLUB ACTIVITIES The music room has always been a lively place, but the sounds issuing forth were not always of a tuneful nature Students going out for music were divided into four groups namely, Mixed Chorus Girls' Chorus, Boys' Chorus and Sextetto made up of Senior and Junior girls Voices were tried out and seuting asfignments made The follow ng persons were elected as officers of the Music Club President, Arloa Whipple: Vice-President, Jean Dreitn Secretary Treasurer Robert Garner Arlen Whipple was accompanist Mrs Hamilton directed the first efforts toward the all school Christmas Mu ical hich was presented to the community on the night of December 23 1946 The Sextette sang two numbers Christmas Night by Abt and Morning by Spear-.s The Mixed Choms omg Holy Art Thou. arranged fron the Largo by Handel and Cherubim Song Y7 by Bertnieneky The Junior High also sang two numbers Sounds from the music room became more and more tuneful when practice beg xr for he Choral Spring Concert presented March 21 1947 All the groups participated in this event, when twenty three choral numbers were given All types of music were included Secular and Sacred The High School auditorium no beautifully decorated by the Treehm n under the guidance of Mrs Dean, and lovely programs were medo by the Comercial Department supervised by Mrs Jones lveryene cooperated fully the girls were lovely in their formnlo and the event will long be remembered by the Music Club mam w S -- xm Rm X .ASN my me RSSXWW' was X Q N-M.
