1 9 4 2 BERTHOUD HIGH SCHOOL 1 9 4 SOPHOMORI' CLASS ACTIVITIILS The following people did not retuxn to the class in September Jim Stotts Jack Welty Donald Zoller Albert Segward Dorothy Wsecup and Mary Nolde Adrlan Peayy and Ruth Felix left the second semester and Dorothy Wisecup ieturned The class enjoyed a party held 'it the home of Audrey Johnson in October A Hal lowe en theme was L irried out 'Ihe group also enyoyed a theatex party February 18 at Loveland where they saw One Foot in Heaven The refreshments 'afterwards were a treat from their sponsor All members of the class took part Ill '1 pep stunt Basketballitls which they gaye in assembly February 10 A party was enyoyed by the Latin cl'1s and faculty at the home of Betty Bem March 21 The theme wus A Day at the Races and was carried out by the use of horses for bold were used The plogram md eames tlso callled out the theme The numbers on the DIOQIHTN were a pmno solo by Betty Be1n mythical story of Cupid and Psyche Esther Kauffman l0Hd1Tlg Hope Howland and double duet Virginia Aschenbrennei Iles Hlllmqll Hope Howland and Pansy Kelly wccompamed by Betty Be1n Refreshments of sandwiches potato strips 1112 crxckers with plmento cheese pickles ice cream Jello cookies and punch were served This party took the place of the t1 adttional Latin banquet and the difference in cost was donated to the Annual fund The class all enjoyed a picnic at the end of the ye'u 2 I t vv I . v i , .
