Council Improving the school spirit and many other facets of school life is the goal of the Senior Student Council. The representatives are from grades ten through twelve, and are elected from each homeroom. Special activities such as dances, Noise Day, Hat Day, and a new one this year called Mask Day, and special services, such as parking stickers for juniors and seniors and student activity cards were among the projects of the Council. Caravel Staff , -, UCA MOVES MjiijL ' B ii M Janet Barnes, Editor; Carol Raines. Business Manager; Barbara Sloan, Assistant Editor. Tlu- girl who kept the sponsors in line. Through the efforts of a few untiring students and the three hardworking sponsors, the Caravel is pub- lished every year. The work began in July at the yearbook workshop held at Samford University. In August, the staff members began the initial selling of advertisements, which helped raise the money for the pul)liration and for he color pages. The work continued until the final deadline on February 20. The members of the staff drew the layouts, wrote the copy, and in some cases, even took the pictures which appear in the annual. It is a long, hard job, but a very rewarding one — especially when the final dead- line is met. Every staff member and sponsor takes pride in presenting the 1968 Caravel to Berry High School. It is the wish of everyone involved that this annual will bring fond and sincere memories of school days at Berry High School. CARAVEL SPONSORS: Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Fay. 23
