Activities Though “school” is generally taken to represent studies and books, one must not feel that these are the only things from which we learn. There are many activities in the Berne Schools. Different organizations help the pupils to meet new situations and form new friendships. Our activities are carried out with the purpose of teaching each of us how to get along with others, and to enjoy the company of our classmates. What would school be like without these friendships? 9
