The Berlin High School 1951-52 football team closed out its season with a record of one win and five losses. Led by co-captains Bill Magetteri and Butch Focareto and five other seniors, Berlin made a good showing at times but did not play this brand of football consistently, which led to their downfall. The only win of the season came at Plain-field, where Berlin was in front all the way and finally came out on top 12-6. In their only game of the year, the Berlin JV squad beat a Southington JV team 6-0.
