Weber Henry Ruppenthal Gladys Butts The Morgan County Board of Education is dedicated to the belief that education is the bul- wark of freedom, and that this nation's system of free public education is literally its first line of defense and the greatest constructive force in the possession of the American peo- ple for the preservation of their freedoms and the democratic way of life. We at Berkeley Springs High School share with all citizens pride in the accomplishments of our Board of Education. With deep appreciation, we salute the Morgan County Board of Education for its un- tiring efforts in providing the citizens of to- morrow with the best in educational opportuni- ties today. Raymond Dispanet County Superintendent Donald Largent 6 Raymond S. Dispanet County Superintendent ”A great educational sys- tem does not mature in a single season, nor does it achieve greatness because of the work of a single per- son. Rather it is a product of years of effort on the part of many persons working together in the interest of children. As a result of past efforts, our school system now is in the forefront of those dedicated to human dignity and to a sense of the worth and selffulfillment of every individual. This is a good time for us to pause and take pride in our ac- complishments. George E. Noland Assistant Superintendent Lloyd D.
