JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY (Continued) our students were out for baseball, football, and basketball and also the band. Many students took part in the County Literary Contest, one win- ning first place in the school contest. Officers were elected as follows: President............................... J. D. Iden Vice-President.................................. Roy Perry Secretary.................... Georgie Werdebaugh Treasurer............................. Herbert Lopp Our Junior year has still dropped with an enrollment of 55. In our Junior year we have made many plans for our future. Our class play is being worked on and our class rings have been ordered. We are looking forward to receiving them soon. We are also planning for our Junior Prom, given in honor of the Seniors. We have 10 in the band. The Student Council was organized and one member of our class is vice-president and one secretary. We have 7 boys on the basketball team and 6 on the football team and 3 girls on the basketball team. Mamie Batt Secretary.............................Joan Rockwell Treasurer.............................Elva Shumaker Our class colors in the Freshman year were green and gold. The Junior Varsity was organized with six of our Freshman boys on first team. The season proved very successful. We lost only one game. Many of our students participated in the Literary Contest, one winning first place in the County Literary Contest. We had 11 boys and girls in the band.
