iSSK T-rS The Berkeley High Women ' s Tennis Team won their third consecutive championship. The team went undefeated in the Catholic Athletic League and had a 12-2 overall record. Jill Quan and Gail Erivin, no. one and two singles, teamed to play in NCS. They lost in the semi-fin- als. Six team members, all doubles players, ' received trophies for be- ing on the all-league team. They were: number one doubles, Jenni- fer Ozaki and Susan Stephens; number two doubles, Stacy Papps and Kelly Watson; and number three doubles, Dorthy Lee and Alice Chuck. Alice remained un- defeated for the season. The team voted Jill the most valuable player and Gail the most improved. 1. Alice Chuck keeps the ball up while teammate Malika Stoll looks on. 2.
