JO ANN GOBLE G.A. President Girls’ Association PATTY HAMILTON Vice-President Dear Girls: It has been indeed a great honor serving as your Girls’ Association President. Your G.A. representatives have been just GREAT. I have long awaited the time when I would be graduating, but now I hate to leave. I’ve made so many friends as your G.A. President. Our past Spring semester has been filled with activ- ities, and fun for all. We started the semester with the traditional G.A. Welcome, for students new to Berke- ley High. Selling G.A. lollipops again proved to be a great success for our treasury. The biggest event of the year was the G.A. Dance, Let’s Twist Again,” which starred the popular Night- caps and featured a Twist contest. Jam on all you twisters! The G.A. Fashion Show finished off the se- mester with a bang. I would like to thank the G.A. representatives, Mrs. Ulry and the Senior Friends, Mrs. Schwimley, and most of all the faithful G.A. officers, Patty, Suzy, Sandi, and Catherine. May all you girls find continued happiness, and God be with each of you. SANDI STEVENS Secreta ry MRS. ULRY Sponsor SUZY PIERCE Treasurer 10 CATHERINE JOSI Social Secretary

Rally Committee ROBERT LEWIS Chairman With the signing of Pods and the rapid approach of Graduation Exercises this year’s Rally Committee will dissolve and hand over its duties to a new group of Seniors. For each of us membership in the Rally Committee has been an enjoyable culmination of three active years at B.H.S. By following in the tradition of past committees, which is to be of service to the school at any time and in any way possible, we have tried to repay, if only in part, a debt built up over six wonderful but fleeting semesters. The qualities of spirit and leadership within each member of the committee was evidenced by their active and successful participation in school activities. I would like to thank my assistants Tom Cooper, Dick McFarland, Charles McNear, Gene Nakamura, and Tom Petersmeyer for their invaluable help. I would also like to thank Mr. Nealson, who had a wonderful knack of knowing the right thing to do at the right time. This semester could not have been a success without his timely and unselfish assistance. Congratulations are also in order for every committee member. Your excellent work this semester has made each of you a credit to the school, and has provided even another reason for those who remain behind to be proud of their school.
