FRENCH I CLUB With the same aims as the French II Club the French I Club is geared to the beginner level The officers are Jeanne Gabriels President Judy Berman Vice Pres: dent Sandra Hopper Secretary and Jean Slafer Treasurer The sponsor is Mrs Shirley Tilden FRENCH II CLUB The French II Club is experiment ing with putting their French to prac tical use at social evening meetings at the home of their sponsor. There they sing songs, play games, and prepare French dishes. The sponsor is Mrs, Shirley Tilden. FUTURE TEACHERS OF AMERICA The Future Teachers of America is a newly formed club in our school under the faculty sponsorship of Miss Rule. The purpose of the club is to investigate the field of teaching and help interested students to appraise their responsibilities and qualifications. The club has been named for Cath' erine Beecher, a woman who did much to establish education for women. The officers of this year's club are: Jeannie Kenny, Presidentg Patricia Eliasen, Vice Presidentg and Frances Blenke, Treasurer. 64
