FRENCH ll CLUB The main purpose of the French Club is to have the students come in contact with French outside of class and to do different things that cannot be done in class. We have made French dishes, had a pageant for Christmas. We also sing and play games. The officers of the clubs are: George Koenig, President, Ralph Mal- vik, Vice President, William Higgin- son, Secretary, Abbot D'Ver, Treas- uer. THE STUDENT PAN-AMERICAN LEAGUE The Student Pan American League of Bergenfield High School is affiliated with the International Pan-American League. This League has its head- quarters in this country in Miami, Florida. The meetings of the Bergenfield High School Student Pan American League are held the last week of every month. The meetings from beginning to end are conducted entirely in Spanish. The object of the Student Pan- American League of Bergenfield is to keep close contact with our southern neighbors and to promote friendship between the U. S. and the Pan-Ameri- can Countries. The officers are: Bobbie Joyce Brey, President, Robert Josephson, Vice Presidentg Betty Young, Secretaryg James Brennan, Treasurer. Faculty sponsor, Miss Dorcas C. Bartley. THE LATIN CLUB The purpose of the Latin Club is to provide opportunities for learning more about classical civilization and for comparing ancient habits and cus- toms with modern ways of living. There are two kinds of meetings! business and social. ln planning the social meetings the club attempts to follow the Latin Calendar, by observ- ing Roman holidays and important his- torical events.
