The Girls'Athletic Association is mac up of about 75 girls taking part in voI ley ball, basketball, bowling, kittenball and many other sports. 'NN nzufafz CZK Following the path of the immor- tal Bard, dramatic, declamation and debate groups carried out a full pro- gram this year. Glen Holse, Pauline Inberg, Louis Lass and Dennis 0'Connor won a dis- trict declam trophy, placing runners- up with Vermillion. Glen furthered the honors by placing Excellent in the Regional contest. Debate squads debating the cause of socialized medicine took part in three major tournaments and several other invitational debates. The for- ensic groups were directed by R.G. Sweeley, history instructor. Three plays presented during the year were the homecoming play, nTrou- ble Shootern. junior play, nBashful Bobbyn, and the senior play, nAlm0st Eighteenn.
