The attendants and their escorts were as follows: (right) Mike Wasylczak, Jean Ann Corn; Stewart Waggoner, Carla Hotten- son; John Kasky, Kerrie Lampley; Mike Gordon, Mary Jankousky. the queen’s court A Time for Us was the theme forthe 1969 BCHS Homecoming. The climax was the crowning of Miss Judy Barton as the 1969-70 Homecoming Queen. She was crowned by co- captains Dennis Parker and John Munoz. Miss Debbie Auten, 1968-69 Queen, was escorted from her throne by last year's tri- captains Mike Gunter, Rick Rusher, and Larry Williams. The band which supplied the music for the evening was the Blue Shadows. There was no grand march this year. Two attendants from each class were chosen by popular vote of the students to represent their classes. football In spite of the bitterly cold afternoon a capacity crowd of loyal Ranger fans were there, cheering, hoping anxiously for a glorious victory. Tensions and emotions were at their peak. The student body, which had displayed their tre- mendous Ranger spirit in the pep session on the previous afternoon, had left in the boys a raging desire for victory. They fought to the end, never giving up, especially the seniors realizing it was their last Ranger football game. Although the game ended witha score of 18 to 0 for the Redbirds, everyone was very proud of our 1970 Rangers. 20
