Others in the play are: Brenda Payne, mother; Robert Chapman, father; Mary Monroe, Alix; Villa Sneed, Julie; Evelyn Payne, Lizbeth; Sondra Smith, Ting; Virginia Milton, Carol; Jeff Barlow, Ronald; Judy Baker, Smitty; David Miller, Davy; Tommy Saxe, Chi; Phil Foster, Mac; Paula Jones, Margaret; and Richard Singer, Snoots. Tommy Saxe tries to get in Esther Hays’s ‘Stag Line.’’ It seems as if the same person always gets the blame for y g p everything, and she is usually the right one. 23
