18 Student Council The Student Council is an organization which helps promote new ideas and which governs the school. Members are elected from their respective classes and the President and Vice-President are au- tomatically members. They take charge of all assem- blies, lyceums, and class elections. Sometime during the school year, they sponsor a dance. This year’s officers are: Jerry Pirtle, President; Alfred Lynch, Vice-President; Jane Dillon, Secretary; Joye Moore, Treasurer; and the sponsor is Miss Jane Kirsch.
