Our chief social events iluring the early part of the year were nightly gatherings in the library where the girls made red jMippie- for the Junior-Senior reeeplion. We had several litlh- informal affairs, among which was our candy pull, hut the crowning event of our High School career was the Junior-Senior reception. The slogan of this affair was Millions for decorations, hut not a cent for cats . This year the football team was organizes] and severed of our young hojiefuls made the team. Then several of our members made their debut in dramatics in the Senior play. The Seniors entertained us at a delightful party toward the latter part of the year. Very few of ns missed the annual picnic at Hose's, The Itoys ushered for the class of Hi at the luicvuluurcatc sermon and the girls at the Commencement exercises. Our first important event was our Hallowe'en party at Rose's. Tin party was a regular old-fashioned barn festival where every one had one of those rip-roaring times. Our next affair was that leap year parly when the girls entertained the Itoys. The theatre and luncheon were enjoyed by all. hut the girls enjoyed their sluntlier party most of all. This year was filled with many important business affairs. We had a great fuss ill Hint our rings blit finally chose one that, suited most of the class. Our invitation-were also selected at this time. During the entire year we put a great part of our time in working on the Scarab . Mi— West entertained the class and faculty with a delightful dinner party. The animal Junior-Senior reception was the next important social event and the Soph-Senior party was held April sixth. After five weeks .if fun and practice the character-chosen for the Senior play were successful in presenting Orceii Stockings .
