CLASS PROPHECY fcontinuedj LAWRENCE TOBIN - has moved to Palm Beach, Florida. His work is designing womens bathing suits and judge of the annual bathing beauty contest. He is the luckiest member of the class. LOIS VOSLER - now has her box car with a picket fence around it. She moved it and her husband and children to Missouri and is thinking of purchasing another box car as her family is increasing fast, . TOMMY SAFT - is now with the auction company of Buffalo, His auctioneering has taken him all over the United States, and we find that such vigorous work has kept him more slim than he was in high school, JERRY HAASE - is still working on his '35 Chevy. He is trying to get it in running order so he can chase his high school sweetheart, Ernestine Vosler. He also wants to enter it at the Indianapolis races next year. JIMMY GRENNAN - is now very happy in his work. He is an assistant to Professor Einstein helping him solve his various theories. P MR. R, F, PELLETT - Our former class sponsor has changed his occupation from music to A athletics, and is now the head Coach at Greenwich where he is coaching football.His team is undefeated since he took over. CLASS HISTORY Early in September in 1940 was the first days of school for five little first gradersg They were: Jerry Haase, Bud Widick, Celia Widick, Lee Gardner and Alice Clover. Our teacher was Bernice Campbell, , In our second year we still had Bernice Campbell as our teacher and we lost from our class, Alice Clover. ,I In our third year Mrs. C. Jennings was our teacher. We gained Bill Elliott, Harold Criman, Eldon Moran and Janice Wilson and we lost Lee Gardner at the end of the term On our fourth year Miss Dollie Bender was our teacher. We gained Buddy Church, Jessie Church, Kenneth Simmons, Shirley Bingham, Frank Marley and Marvin Lix, We lost Bud Widick, Celia Widick, Harold Criman, Shirley Bingham and Eldon Moran at the endiof the term. J y ' ' J In our fifth year our teacher was Miss Vida O'Donnell. We lost Marvin Lix at the end of the first semester. We lost Jessie Church and Janice Wilson at the end of the term. In our sixth year we gained Marjorie Taylor, Gene Marshall, and Jimmy Grennan, We lost Buddy Church. Miss Mary Peterson was our teacher. In our seventh year Harry Cameron was our teacher. We gained Shirley Whitson, Roy Penner, Carolyn Lygrisse, Leona Beeman, Kenneth Harder. We lost Marjorie Taylor, Leona Beeman and Frank Marley at the end of the term. We lost Kenneth Simmons at the end of the first semester. I In our eighth year we gained Thomas Saft, Ray Stareck and lost Kenneth Harder and Gene Marshall at the end of the term, This made a total of ten students graduating from the eighth grade with Mrs. Mary Rector as our teacher. Eleven green Freshman enrolled in the fall of 1948. They Were: Shirley Whitson, S Fredrick Fuller, Leona Fuller, Roy Penner, Carolyn Lygrisse, Bill Elliott, Jerry Haase, Jimmy Grennan, Thomas Saft, Ray Stareck, and Bill Wing. Mrs, Josephine Burnside was chosen as our sponsor. Leona Fuller was chosen class queen. Marlene White came the second semester. ,
