The purpose of the F.F.A. is to learn better farming tech-
niques for tomorrow. They better their skills by going to land-
iudging contests, to Chicago to the annual livestock show,
and by putting on demonstrations. We should be proud of
this chapter which is one of the oldest in the state.

The Varsity Club membership is open to all boys who have won a varsity letter.
One day in November the busiest and dressiest boys in school were the initiates,
who with their suits and cigar boxes full of candy for old members had to obtain
the signature of each faculty member and five hundred students.
The Varsity Club sponsors the Homecoming Queen Contest and the Homecoming
Dance. The club is also responsible for the coat check at home basketball games
and keeping the fans and students oft the gym floor. The past two years the
club has attended a Michigan State football game.
