To insure a brisk coke sale these thinking workers add a generous supply of salt to the popcorn sold. Part of the money earned by this or- ganization is used to finance the All Sports Banquet in the spring. At the football games they divide up into teams with special jobs to fulfill. One team sells pop and potato chips, a second sells popcorn, and a third sells hot dogs. At the basketball games this year their headquarters is the new concession stand. All hoys who have won a varsity cluh letter are eligilnle for membership. This club has sponsored many activities among which were the Homecoming Queen Contest and the Homecoming Dance. The Varsity Cluh is re- sponsible for the check-room which is operated during basketball games. for keeping the people off the main floor of the gym. and for encouraging good sportsmanship in all our activities. Last fall these boys made a trip to sec the Michi- gan State-Kansas football game: the club hopes to see a hockey game this winter: and they plan to make a spring trip. also.
