The Service Club is interested in the welfare of our school, our community, and
our country. Such activities as collecting gifts for Red Cross distribution, decorating
the school Christmas tree, entertaining "shut-ins," and assembling "l.D.,' cards form
the basis for the club's existence.
The only major qualification for membership is to have a sincere desire to help
and to work with others.

The Prometheaus is a discussion club composed of sophomores, juniors and
seniors. Each girl selects an educational topic to study and present to the group at
an assigned meeting. All members are required to maintain a B average.
The bulk of the money earned is deposited in the Mpromethean Fundf, This fund
is to be used for the benefit of Benton Harbor High School.

Each of these Senior girls has several sophomore girls for "little sisters" whom
she meets and welcomes at the Big Sisters' Tea just after school begins in the fall.
Then throughout the year'she remains ready and willing to do as much as pos-
sible for her "little sistersv to make them feel at home during their first year at
Benton Harbor High School.
