OI Division making up the Combat Informa- tion Center, interprets on the scopes what the sweeping fingers of the radar finds on the sur- face and in the sky. Air Operations vector our planes to their target and directs their return to the ship, OS, the signal gang, is the ship's eyes. Visual communications and doubling with OI on the lookout watches make up their daily routine. Around the clock the buzzing radio room keeps the OR crew busy as our voice and ears. OA Division is divided into four parts-Aerology, Photo-lab, Post Office and Department Ollice per- sonnel.
