- . An innovation this year was the selection of the most valuable cheerleader based on interest, ef- fort, effectiveness, and cooperation. Each cheer- leader had an opportunity during the year to show her ability at several games, and the selection was made by the coaches, faculty sponsors, and the cheerleaders themselves. Leppy Evans, a Veteran of three years, was chosen for this honor. The important goal to a B.l-l. S. cheerleader is victory. She cheers for her te am to do its best, and often she is rewarded with the Gremlins' luck being no less than victory.
