BLOCK B CLUB 1 The Block B Club is composed of members who have won their letters by participating in one of the inter- scholastic sports during the year or in cheerleading. Football players and cheerleaders begin practicing in August, basketball, trck, and baseball players begin practicing later. Along with the hard work of practicing, there is always some fun. Each year the football squad is honored with a banquet given by the Jaycees and Kiwanis. All of our sports, both for boys and girls, were played with good sportsmanship and friendly rivalry. IE To stimulate school spirit, few things are so effective as the crisp notes of a march orithe mellow theme of an over- ture played by the high school band. The B,H. S, Band par- ticipates in many activities. Playing for parades each year, for the football games, for school assemblies, and for its yearly concerts keeps the band well occupied and at the same time gives it that warm feeling of satisfaction that comes with service rendered.
