I id' r X Ni Gene Curry Luzil Salvador Charles Glass Ed Littlefield Colleen Nichols Douglas Wold Each of the returning sixty-one seniors wanted to make his last year one of fun and activity. The following did their part as Student Body Officers: Don Trent, Presidentg Bill Corn, Business Manager, Alex De Leon, Vice-President, lrene Precour, Secretary-Treasurerg and Senior Representatives, Barbara Larnbro and Paul Redden. Class officers were then chosen for the year and heading the class were Bill Smothers, President: Charles Glass, Vice-President, and Dolores Bernard, Secre- tary-Treasurer. Through the help and guidance of Class Advisors, Mrs. Ruth Chorley, and Mr. Leo Giorgerini, the class was led to a successful year. Many of the seniors participated in social activities. Cn the Prowling Panther staff were: Luzil Salvador, Editor: Barbara Craddick, Assistant Editor and Artistg Barbara Lambro, News Editory Dolores Bernard, Feature Editor, Paul Redden, Sports Editor, Alex De Leon, Business Managerg and Reporters, Eddie Vierra, Sue Littleton, Irene Precour, Douglas Wold, and Mickey Craig. The Annual staff was also made up of a few seniors, Irene Precour, Business Managerg Barbara Lambro, Typistg and George Clark, Senior Representative to the Annual. A number of the senior girls were members of G.A.L. and Barbara - mbro and lrene Precour were President and Vice-President respectively. Like se, several boys belonged to Block B, with Chet Carr, President, and David Galbreath, Secretary-Treasurer. 1 The Senior Class started its fourth year at Benicia High with 5581.43 in their treasury, but they knew that they would need much more to have a fun-packed year. To raise money they held a White Elephant Sale on December l4, l95U, in the auditorium during the noon hour. It was quite successful, adding S1422 to their funds. During the second quarter the Senior Class regretted losing some members of their class, because of the Korean War situation. 14
