It marks the 25th anniversary of the organization. The band was initiated by Father Armand. OSB. in 1942. The size and precision of the band has slowly grown until this year almost seventy men marched at our footba I games. The band can look with pride on its past for the past is a valuable foundation for the future. This thought has spurred the band on to higher achievement, since it realizes that excellence in musical skills is a growing process, not something accomplished overnight. As in the past, the band again participated in several civic and neighborhood ceremonies, as well as at the high school Christmas concert. This year, new faces are seen in the Band Department. Returning from a year of studies, the new Band Moderator is Father Vincent, OSB. The new Band Director is Mr. James Crossley. who obtained his musical experience at Baldwin-Wal-lace.
