After carrying out a successful freshman initiation, the council turned to more pressing problems. Included in this year's docket was the banning of work pants as proper school dress, and an extremely effective haircut campaign. At the right. Frank Bossu and Jim Betts, president and vice-president respectively, ran an orderly and effective council which proved to be one of the best in recent years. 18

The academic year of 1966-67 has seen the introduction of a new musical activity. The Glee Club, under the direction of Mr. Robert Snyder, made its debut in a Christmas concert with the band and the chorale group from Marymount. Later, appearances were made in conjunction with the band at Hoban-Dominican and Lumen Cordium, as well as the annual Spring concert. The Glee Club has made remarkable progress for a newly organized group throughout the entire year. At tho loft, Mr. Snyder discusses now music with three members of the Glee Club.
