SBC Student Government Presi- dent, Joe Daglen. Student The Student Government Associations of the Twin Colleges have been established for developing each student to his full capacity. It is the purpose of SGA to secure a close relationship among the administration, the faculty, and the students. It is further the aim of this student organization to promote the growth ofthe college and to help it meet the needs ofa changing society and educational system. It is the student who forms the core of this collegeg therefore it is SGA's intention to promote their general welfare. i I L. Academic Affairs Committee The Academic Affairs committee was projected toward the goals of more creative education. The committee conducted the course and teacher evaluation survey. One of the primary objectives of the committee was to initiate a more casual relationship between teachers and students. ocial Committee L. TO R.: Jane Cruthojf Mike Nagel, Janet McGuire, Elaine Holthaus, MaryAnne Irwin, M0untSocial Chair- Dave Sulzbach, Kenny Schlipman, Chris Huebner, Bob man, Dick Mann, Marge Sokol, Ann Jochems, Andy Byrne, Sue Donelly, Kathy Liston, Barny Mayse, Karen Ratkewicz, SBC social chairman, Joe Garavaglia, and Haslag, Mike Tiernan, Maggie Roos, Ginger Uhrich, Betty Ries. This year's Social Committee started things with a change by holding a soccer Homecoming in late September. A parade with floats was one of the features of the event. This year the Social Committee reduced the number of dances and during the second semester offered four name bands.
