Rex Spicer came in the middle of our Sophomore year from Colorado. Our Junior year we came back eager for more schooling, less two members, Phil Hull and Rex Spicer. We tackled the concession stands with great ambition. We lost Thelma Shoaf six weeks after school started. For our Junior Play, we gave Take Three Girls, We had our Junior-Senior Banquet. The theme was Hawaiian Cruise. Mr. Adcock was our sponsor. In September, 1953, we found we were entering our Senior year with the responsibility of setting an example for the lower classes. During the summer we lost Carl Friend. We gained one member, Darrell Harrelson, from Fredonia. We finish with a class of nine. Mr, Best is our sponsor, We anticipate a full schedule of interesting activ- ities as we move toward graduation. We feel we have accomplished much during our school years, and we hope we can make the best of what we have learned. LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF SENIOR CLASS We, the Seniors of Benedict High School, being of unsound mind and poor memory, do hereby publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament: I, Jane Elder, will my ability to talk in music without getting caught to Deane Morgan, and my car to anyone who can find it. I, Dorthe Erickson, will my ability to get into trouble to Howard Shively, and my beautiful handwriting to anyone who can read it.
