CLASS PRCPHECY As we step into our streamlined spaceship to take a trip around the world, let us find out what the Seniors of 1954 are doing. Ten years have passed since that fateful day so many dreaded but still looked forward to. Our first stop is in the town of New York. There we see our former high school pitcher, G. R. Hutchison, playing with the Giants, He has won 30 games and has a batting average of .5'71. We visited a while with him and his wife, Dixie, before resuming our travels. From Brooklyn we fly across to Hollywood. Hollywood and Vine that is. There we come across Patsy Payne. She is working as a Fuller Brush Girl and has only had her leg broken once sticking it in doors. Our next stop is spent on the sunny shores of Hawaii. There we find Janice Hobbs as the Ambassador for the United States, It was fun attending the political meetings but got rather boring just listening and not doing any talking. 1 can remember some of the arguments she used to get into with the other Senior girls. From Hawaii we proceed to Japan. There we see Darrel Harrelson illustrating his paintings to some of the less cultured people. His paintings are on New World Sculpture of Nude Women. He told us some people just don't appreciate the finer things of life. Paris is our next stop. There we see Jane Elder, who is now Mrs. Dwayne Dalton. She has to tell her 3 young children about how Dwayne rode with the Dalton Brothers every night before they'll go to sleep, as they think it's so exciting living with a cowboy. It was exciting in Paris but we soon moved on to Germany. lt was there we ran across Arline Hutchison and her husband, Ray. Ar1ine's maiden name is Miller but was changed soon after she graduated. Ray is the commanding officer of several troops stationed in Germany.

The weather was too dry in Germany so we decided to visit the icy peaks of Switzerland. In a small picturesque village we come across Dorthe Erickson. She moved there about 5 years ago to teach the people about child control. So far she has neither a husband or children to control herself . Foreign countries are nice but home sweet home is much better. In San Francisco we stop to refuel and saw Arnette Harris running a restaurant. She specializes in good home cooking. She located there because her boyfriend is stationed near on a Navy base, Homeward bound we stop a while in Poenix, Arizona. There we see Mr. and Mrs. Earl Miller, the former Barbara Faulkner, and their three children. They own a large cattle ranch and had just struck oil. I'm glad someone can afford their children in this high priced era. The trip was nice but we were all glad to get back to Benedict. There we find Mr. Best and his wife, Dorothy, and their nine children. He always said he would have a good girls softball team even if he had to raise them himself. It just so happens they're all girls. CLASS HISTORY In the fall of '50, we entered the halls of Benedict High School for the first time as industrious Freshmen. There were twelve graduates from Benedict Grade School. They were: Jane Elder, Carl Friend, Barbara Faulkner, Arnette Harris, Janice Hobbs, G. R, Hutchison, Bobby King, Arline Miller, Patsy Payne, Dorthe Erickson, Thelma Shoaf, and Phil Hull. From rural schools came Donald Thielenhaus and Francis Comstock. Bobby King left in the middle of our Freshman year and Francis Comstock quit school after a few weeks. Our sponsor was Mr. Jerigan. Twelve sophomores came back in September, 1951, to resume the course of study. Mrs. Crawford sponsored us through the second year. Donald Thielenhaus was transferred to Altoona.
