That was our emotion upon completing the Brochure. We reviewed our years at Blewett to select the guiding light whose spirit so fills these pages. Z Entrance at the West Gate Blewett As we turn our thoughts toward the future and prepare for the road that lies ahead, our hearts are filled with confiicting emotions. Part- ings are always a bit sad, especially when one is leaving not only a person or a building but a part of his life behind. That is the way we, the Seniors, feel about Blewett. For four years this school has meant a life of fellowship, intellectual development, and altruistic cooperation. Within its walls, we have learned much, and its campus has given us many hours of relaxation. Blewett will remain, forever, a symbol of our happy youth. About two years ago, when Mr. Chiles came to Blewett as Assistant Principal, the Corridor Officers were re- organized. Since that time they have succeeded in controlling the traffic in the corridors as well as the lunchroom.
