E POINTER I CLASS HISTORY lGHT memoe s of the class of -10 began school at Bemus Pornt lslrgh School and have completed thelr school days n the same burldtng n l938 the school Nas cen tralrzed and many new faces were added to the class as we entered the seventh grade D n lohnson ,vas elected presrdent of the class th1s year The next year as we entered our last year of grade school Bosemary Phlllrps was elected presrdent The mam event of the year seems to have been a rummage sale wn1ch NS sponsored ln l94l we entered the last stretch four years of hlgh school Barbara Murdock Jas elected presrdent and the class held several class partres Mrs Wren was the class advrsor ln 1942 Berdena Fuller was maugurat d as presldent the class held a skatmg party at Mrdway To end the year a werner roast was held at Bemus Pornt Vrllage Park wrth a skatmg party rn the even1ng Mrs Dake and Mr Dorman were our advlsors durmg thls year Durmg our Junlor year we became more serlous and fmanclal mmded Candy cessful sale of statronery A Iunror Prom was held rn lune whrch was not for the pur pose of makrng money but rather to honor the graduatmg senrors Berdena Fuller farthfurly gutded the class through thls year arded by Norma Brooks as vrce presrdent A.l1C9 Barrett as secretary Norman Skrllman as treasurer and Shrrley Barrett and Don lohnson as student councrl members Mr Green was our 1un1or advrsor Our semor year started w1th a bang The class held electron of offrcers ln the same manner as that rn whrch nat1onal electrons are conducted Mrs Rhodes arded wrth the electrons Norma Brooks was elected presrdent wlth Charlre Norton as vrce presldent Frances Krrcher as secretary Rosemary Phrlhps as treasurer Berdena Ful ler and Gust Berggurst as student councrl members Mr Gerber was semor advrsor Work was begun on our semor plays whrch turned out to be a great success At Chnst mas we sponsored the sale of Cnrrstmas cards Frve semor boys graduated at m1d year several of whom contlnued wrth college work We entered 1nto work on our semor annual very arnbrtrously and also early rn the year lt was sent to press about February l5 after two months of hard fvork On December 10 we sponsored a country football dance wrth other schools mvrted Norma Brooks Nas elected football aueen for Bemus We are nofv lookrng forward to graduatron :vlnch N111 bnng to a close a successful semor year and Nhrch wlll complete the hrstory of the class of 43 n Bemus Pornt Central School ll .' r .
