She holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Chicago. After school hours she is kept busy looking after her house and family. MISS RUTH HELLIGAS teaches American history and world history as well as advises Debate. She received her Master of Science degree from the University of Illinois. Painting pictures is a favorite hobby. MISS YVONNE JONES is speech correctionist of Community Unit School- District 100. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University. When she has time, she likes to take Sherry for a walk. MISS FRANCES LANGMO teaches English I and III, and is a co-advisor of the Bel-Hi. Her Bachelor of Science degree was received from Winona State Teachers College. She works cross-word puzzles in her spare time. MR. JOSEPH LEWIS is director of athletics in Community Unit School District 100. He,teaches physical education, advises Pep Club, B Club, and coaches baseball, and freshmen and junior varsity basketball. During the summer he plays golf. A Bachelor of Education degree was granted him by the University of Missouri. MR. WILLIS McKNIGHT teaches general mathematics, safe driving, and is co-advisor of the freshman class. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carthage College. Along with her school work, she is co-advisor of the Student Council. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Illinois State Teachers College. During her spare time she sketches pictures. MR. DARRELL DIGGINS teaches Typing I and bookkeeping. He is one of the Bel-Hi advisors and manager of the bookstore. From Whitewater State Teachers College he received his Bachelor of Education degree. Attending stock-car races is his favorite enjoyment. MRS. DARRELL DIGGINS is the teacher of shorthand, Typing I, Il, and is one ofthe Bel-Hi advisors. She received her Bachelor of Education degree from Whitewater State Teachers College. Collecting recipes is her hobby. MISS ALICE ENTWHISTLE teaches Algebra 1 and general mathematics. Her Master of Arts degree was received from the University of Illinois. Her summers are spent playing golf. MISS ROSALIE GILES teaches world history and advises the National Honor Society. This year she is chairman of the Curriculum Committee. Reading and traveling are her pastimes. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin. MR. CHARLES HARNED is Director of Music of Community Unit School District loo. He teaches both the freshman band and the high school band. After school hours he has a great interest in raising tropical fish. He advises the ln- dustrial Arts Club. A Bachelor of Science degree was granted him by Northern Illinois State Teachers College. His spare time is spent in the machine shop. MR. WILBUR MONG teaches chemistry and physics, and is treasurer of Belvidere High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois. He spends a lot of time raising bees. MR. LYLE MOSS teaches Industrial Arts I,II and III, and mechanical drawing. He also advises the Industrial Arts Club. He received his Master of Arts degree from the University of Illinois. A favorite pastime is fishing. ' MR. STAN PATRICK teaches civics and advises the sophomore class. He also coaches varsity basketball, golf, tennis, and Frosh-Soph football.
