Just four short years ago there wandered into the halls of Belvidere High School one hundred and eighty-one shy, green, little freshmen! There is no need to tell you that they developed into the smooth, sophisticated seniors of the Class of '45l Yes, we soon out- grew our shyness, and by the end of our first year, we had already made a good name for ourselves, We chose Kenneth Miles, Lyons Meyers, Jane Houston, and Geraldine Oakley as our class officers that year and Betty Luckow as our candidate for Carnival Queen. Through out the year, we worked hard to earn money for our Prom, both through the magazine subscription drive and the sale of candy, paper, and pencils. In May came our
