Gaz: 'O . ' , FOOTBALL The football season opened in the fall of 1925 with seven letter men back on the team. The season was a very successful one and the boys were awarded silver footballs by the business men for their fine showing all through the season. Twelve letters were awarded, seven of which were given to Senior boys. Those who received letters were: Shurtz, captain, two letters, VVaters, four letters, Kern, three letters, Gotschall, two letters, Forcade, two letters, Ewing, two letters, Gould, two lettersg Elder, one letter, Brown, one letter, Kennedy, one letter, Studer, -one letter, Reiter, one letter.
