Advzke To Undergraduates 11Immm-nnummnmumnnmm-nmuumnunnnmnnIInunnumnunnnu mmnInummnnmmnnnu munmnnnmunuununInnnnIunmmmmmmmnumnnnnunummmmuuuvnmmuununuunnnummmII1mnInnvIImmmmuuuuummunmnumumm nmnn11Innmmnnnumnnnu1nmuunumuummmmum 1nnnnummuunnmnm By lime C olomb The time has come for the class of 1951 to take its departure. We have spent only four short years here, but in that time, we have ac- quired a vast amount of knowledge. It is cus- tomary for the departing class to leave the un- dergraduates shreds of wisdom which it has ac- quired during its short stay at Bellows Free Aca- demy. Of course we can't put in this all that we have accomplished but we shall try. We have been through it all and feel it is our duty to ad- vise a few. We advise: Eddie Paquette to put Venetian blinds in his car so he and Sally won't be dis- turbed during the noon hour. We advise: lean St. Denis to let her hair grow so she can obtain the long flowing locks that Shirley Thompson has. We advise: Mary Murray to start looking for someone else, because Ted will soon be gone. We advise: joan Walsh to get a boy friend that she, too, may enjoy her senior year. We advise: Sue Larow to try to get away with chewing gum like Ercell Tarbox. VVe advise: Carol Elwood to put his height and weight to some advantage like Popp Beau- regard. Now the time has come for the students them- selves to advise their friends. Virginia Dacey advises Mr. Comi to respect her more if he should meet her in future years. Tiny Rich advises Iohn Rhodes to think more and talk less. Faith VVilson advises lane Quilliam and Gloria Frazier to keep the seats in the Trustees, Room warm as she did. Nita Hill advises her sister to be on time now, as she won't be there to use the BATHROOM. Betty Brouillette advises Helen Raine to ac- quire some of her quietness. jan Church advises Janet Fallon to walk down the hall once without twitching. Polly Sheltra advises Lise Duval to take stenography so sheill be able to understand the pained expressions on the stenography class faces. Seeing our time is running short we the class of 1951 are going to leave some advice to the fol- lowing classes. VV e advise: The class of ,52 to bring shoulder pads so they can push against the wheel harder. Huh, Mr. Sunderland? We advise: The class of ,53 to gain as much athletic ability as the class of '51? VVe advise: The class of 1954 to begin to act a little more like high school students as they will soon be sophisticated sophomores. We advise: The class of ,55 to enjoy them- selves over the summer and when they come to B. F. A. to stay clear of Room 21. We advise: The undergraduates to respect the superior upperclassmen. W'e advise: Mr. Comi not to get his hopes up too high, because there still is another Dacey, Swisler, and Colomb to go. VVe think we have given all the advice that is necessary for the undergraduates to know, so they may continue the rest of their years at Bel- lows Free Academy with Great Success.
