On December 6 and 7 of that year the greatest stage production that was ever pre- sented on the good ship B. F. A. was that magnificent success, Cross My Heart . Fifi Shapland Marion Hibbard On March 1-14 the captain and first mate acted as host and hostess to the seniors and faculty at a supper served by the Home Economic Class The one-act play Sauce for the Gos- ling was creditably presented by members of the class at the Junior Jamboree. Honor was bestowed on Midshipman Peter Fortuna when he was awarded a S100 scholarship to U. V. M. for his one act play, lt Came Upon the Midnight Clear . Some were rescued but others were left behind. crew and the faculty who had helped them weather many a storm the seniors were ready to take their final leave, and they regretfully bade the Admiral farewell. The ship that was launched four short years ago in the waters of B, F. A. now sails quietly away and may the valiant class of 1940 reach the port of success. E101
