Miss Clark, physical education staff, and Miss ihloore, flowers and bugs, are our beloved knit-wits . . just one sweater after another . . VVe are proud to note that Miss Olson is not only our librarian but also the president of the Northwest Library Association . . But, really, Miss Burman, I didn't ditch! It's blue Monday or any other day for those students forgetting excuses . . VVe' 1 wonder how many bandages Miss Diaz puts on in a year . . Laid end to end, plenty, we guarantee . . Miss Becker is the baby of our faculty but very fn' appreciated by the girls' gym classes . . Miss Dennis is known by some for math- ematics, but the girls know her much better for her sound advice and her work with the Girls' League . . VVe are all sorry to learn that Mr. Chichester is expect- ing to retire from school work this year . . YVe shall lose, a fine dramatics teacher who was the instructor of our Miss Gray who in turn taught our Miss Clark . . Mr. Rankin likes to go cruising for mushrooms . . As for Mrs. Snow . . well, what would high school be without her! Nine

Eight :Qs his sport-managering, he likes to hunt or another of our instructors who likes to spend his leisure tinn ,L ,. Mr. Vander- ford goes in for boating in a big way . . Miss hlartin collects wood engravings and pottery . . hlr. Shepherd, also, finds relaxation in angling A. . Miss Stenherg's hobby is her home . . The leisure of the machine age has given people time for hobbies . . Miss Miner has two: in the winter collecting stamps and in the summer gardening . . Mr. Lewis also has two . . VVC haven't seen the proof of his prowess as a fisherman, but no one can dispute his qualifications for coaching junior league baseball for the American Legion . . Miss Conlee, our superfine cooking instructor, collects kitchen gadgets . . Miss Jones collects pictures . . She now has about eight hundred reproductions of famous paintings . . Miss Perry gathers famous sayings which she repeats to her English classes and her cat . . Miss Kelly and Miss Kauf- man, familiar names to the seniors . . How could We ever graduate without the help of our advisers . . No one could ever have had Miss Tairkoff without remembering the fun in her classes and the surprising amount learned . . It seems strange to us who have been in Mr. B-iorkquist's classes to have him separated from The Tale of Two Citiesn . . Soon he will be connected with the names of hfetternieh and Frederick the Great . . Miss Scott is well known to most of us who have had to tangle with geometry . . And Mrs. Brandenthaler is equally well known for math
