All of these things helped to make the 1971 Homecoming Week one to be remembered. To start it off, the seniors and the sophomores won the tug of war. The next main event featured Bev Alt and Ron Ylst winning the pie eating contest. Then, on that fate ful Friday night, the Sophomores again won, only this time with a Grand Prize winning float. Finally, as that suspenseful moment arrived, Becky Alt was crowned Homecoming Queen of 1971. 1 lg? in 1 .L s 'f V , rr t it 2 ' ' i li fs 9 is Q. 1, NMA K ... .. gg, f . 55,021 .lp -'-s f 'vlan ,X A. :gf , i ' 'f r t ,fs-.11 . ,i ' 5.
