Bt®B QMS «1©OT We came 568 strong back in '60. Large in number, but larger yet were to be our accomplishments. From that first day in September our diligent group set records at B.H.S. that have never before been reached and probably will not be equaled in many years. The first year in Inter-Class Track competition, we scored higher than any previous Freshman Class has ever scored at B.H.S. The following three years we whopped the other classes. Never before has any class fared so well in this event. Our accomplishments were not only in the field of athletics. We also ex- celed in the field of academics. We have more honor roll students. Seal Bearers, and Phi Beta Kappas than any other class from our school. Our twenty-five Seal Bearers almost doubles the old record. In our Senior year we sponsored a very successful Christmas Dance, ' Yule- tide n Mistletoe,” which some people have compared to certain past proms. We threw a fantastic Sweethearts Ball at which everyone enjoyed themselves im- mensely. We enjoyed a frolicking Senior Ditch Day at Newport Dunes. To top the year off we had a fabulous all night graduation party at Disneyland. 27 Television cameras focused on Senior Square. Junior-Senior sweater.
