Not pictured is Jack Allen om- om Tom-Tom reporters were J. Jackson, S. Mathis, B. For the first time in many years, Bellevue High had a iournalism class which published the Tom-Tom. The school paper was put out bi-monthly. The content of the Tom-Tom changed dramatically, the gossip section was done away with, the newstories appeared as straight newstories and not editorials, a much better advertising iob was done. Front Page Editor. At the Nebraska High School Journal- ism Convention at Lincoln, on Nov. l4- 15 Bellevue scored a first place in the editorial-writing division by Tom-Tom Editor Katie Bartels and a third in the proofreading contest was won by Sue Ruskin.
