1. Many students gathered after the first home football game for the Pig¬ skin Prom, sponsored by the Student Council. 2. The holiday festivities at school reached a climax with the Christmas Dance. S. Missy Cusack, Lisa Davis, and Carla Buser decorated the Cafeteria for the Student Council Christmas Dance. - 4 . 1. For the third year in a row, the senior class won the float-build¬ ing trophy for their entry “We Will Rock You. ” 2. The Class of ’82 showed past ex¬ perience in float building with their construction of “Strangle- Hold the Flyers. ” 3. The theme for the parade of Rock-n-RoU was illustrated by the sophomores with their “Rush the Flyers. ” • 4 . In their first attempt, the fresh¬ men came up with “Jail-House Rock” as their expression of the Spirit Week theme. 5. Tension mounted as the parade came to an end at Third and West Main Streets. Principal Jerry Turner presented the spirit trophy to the Class of ' 81.

Cheerleaders led the spirit at the before-school rally in which the Victory Bell was presented to the school by the football team. 8. “Balloons for sale, ” cried Dave Wenzel as he tried to sell spirit balloons at home football games. h.
