After 3:25 The time is 3:25. Bells ring, signaling the end of another school day. The sounds of feet trampling, lockers clattering, and voices clamoring pervade. Within minutes a school body disassembles, as individuals head in many directions. (1) Waiting for a bus we often wondered, “Will it ever get here?” (2) We devoted many hours to after-school activities such as play rehearsals. (3) We found meetings and practices hard to “run away from.” (4) Many of us kept busy with part-time jobs and (5) found that spending time wisely boosted our spending money. (6) Working in the community was not only financially rewarding — but fun, too! 16 After School

“Movies” set the stage for annual Hobo Day Parade Each year, the Hobo Day Parade highlights the Spirit Week activities. This year, the theme for Hobo Day was “movies.” (1) Varsity cheerleader Julie Randle displayed the spirit that made Hobo Day a special day. (2) The football team succeeded in keeping the bell in Belleville another year. (3) The seniors chose the movie “Survive” in hopes of a high-flying float. (4) The juniors “expressed ” their enthusiasm with their float choice. (5) The sophomores hoped to “put the bite on” the other classes with their float. (6) The freshmen “went ape” after emerging as the float champions. (7) The Orchestra produced the winning mini-float. (8) Everyone had a chance to show spirit behind the class floats.
