Hola (Hello) From Barcelona, Spain Uf! It's hard to start. What can I say? Just, sorry if I still have some faults in my writing. But think that my English is better than when I just got here. I remember the first day that I met the girls in volleyball. I remember that I was afraid because I was encircled by everyone, and they were asking me questions. I didn ’t understand anything. I remember very clearly and probably will always remember that Micki O'Reilly was trying to introduce me to all of you. I also remember the second day when I was sore and I went to practice. I was talking with Kath Dunnion, and we were trying to understand each other. Well, forget the past. I just want to thank all the people who have on some occasion or another helped me to learn the English language. Each time I speak in English, I will remember all of you guys. Well, I wish I could be here next year, but my year is almost over. Probably in one month I will be back in Spain and maybe lying on the beach with my friends, but I will not forget you. And I would like to be next year in your graduation “class of ’89”, but I think I could not come for so many reasons. But, know that I wish all of you the best things in this life and have lots of fun next year in your senior year. You only have to think that you can do it and be the best. And I don’t want to forget all the friends that I have in the “class of ’88”, for them, I also wish the best things in this life. Eva Gomez Pau
