LAST WILL A D TE TAME T We, the Class of Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-three, being the twentieth class to graduate from Belle Glade High School, and, realizing that we must soon leave these hallowed halls and our fond possessions behind and retain just our sacred memories, do hereby declare this to be our Last Will and Testament. In doing this, we revoke all previous promises, restore all unknown harm, and do now give, devise, and bequeath the following: To our teachers, past and present, we leave our heartfelt appreciation for the unfailing and understanding help they have given us for the past twelve years. To the Junior Class, we leave dear Belle Glade High School, with the hope that they, too, will come to know it as we have and to cherish its fond memories always. To you, Belle Glaclell-ligh School, we leave but our parting gratitude, best wishes for the future, and last . . . FAREWELL ! I, Mike Berryhill, being of weak mind and easily broken body do bequeath the following: to Danny Shiver, I leave my big brown pillow, so he will be more comfortable at the Drive-In, to Tony Latour, I leave my ability to speak clear English, to John Causey, I leave a half-used Pic, so bugs won't interfere with his pleasure, to my little redheaded sister, Lee Anne, I leave all the boys in B.G.H.S., one at a time, and girls d0n't feel left out because in a few years my twin brothers, Steve and Scott will be along. I, Bobby Blakely, being of enormous mind and large body, do hereby will the following: to Ed Buckner my position on the football team. I leave memories of one of the happiest years of my life. I, Robert Brane, being of sound body and wracked mind, leave to Coach Burke three future football players, to my sister Martha all my unused text books, to Coach Davis, my brothers behind me, to make them strong men. A I, Martin Buss, being of disintegrated mind, and dilapidated body do hereby bequeath fwhatever that meansl the following: to Charlie Thompson-I leave my seat in Mr. Bowers's room which was left to me by Tommy Bass, to Eddie Buckner, I leave my ability to get along with English teachers, to Coach Luke, I leave one dozen assorted pairs of worn out basketball shoes. Finally to the teachers of B.G.H.S. I leave my little brother Warren. I, Bobby Carter, being of strained brain and mangled body, will unto Alan Ponder my wrecked Renault. May he have as much fun in it as I did. To Prof., I leave the tree that jumped in front of me one night, here's hoping he has better luck with it. And to B.G.H.S., I leave my sweet little sister, Sally Ann. I, Gary Clark, being of unsound mind and beat up body, do hereby leave the following: to Roy Hayes, my position as guard, may he have as much fun as I did, to Tim Hill, my last pack of weeds , to the returning players, two words, R ----- H ----- , and last but not least, to Barbara Collins, Sharon Amedee, and Sandra Rhymes, my book on how to M-- O---Y' I, LuAlice Clause, being of improving body do hereby will my ability to take the snap? courses to Becky Blakely, my bad driving habits to Leah Poston, may she gain as much fame from them as I, and last but not least I leave the road to the Glades Sugar Mill to Laura Rogers and ,loan Fortenberry, they have a good use for it. I, Tommy Close, being egotistical and somnolent, leave to Ed Buckner my seat in the back of Mrs. Hill's class, may he use it as sleeply as I did. And to Coach Burke, two of the meanest fullbacks Belle Glade has ever had, my twin brothers. I, Sallie Collier, being of scattered brain and battered body, de hereby will and bequeath the following: to Maria Gutierrz and my sister Rachel I leave a Cancer-Cure-Kit, which they will find most useful. To Betty .lean Goodlett I leave the ability to always put her foot in hermouth at the wrong time and a new battery for Nell. Here's hoping we won't have to push her quite so much in the future. Last, but not least, I leave to Francie Holton a booklet entitled HOW T0 MASTER MAMA'S METHOD in THREE EASY LESSONS. I, Marinez Collins, having a huge body and less than little mind do hereby will to the following: to Roy Hayes, I leave the Iberia Two-step , I leave my brother Bert Repulsive Davis, a big red apple for his lunch, to Uncle Ed Buckner, I leave Babs and Cully.
