F AREWELL FAREWELL FROM THE CLASS OF FIFTY NINE We, the Seniors of Belle Glade High, Say our farewells with many a sigh, Farewell to our friends, to all our teachers, To the halls, to the gym, and even the bleachers. To studyhall, to English, to the library too, Farewell from the Seniors who are now leaving you Remember our football and basketball teams? They hustled and bustled so hard, it seems. In spite of not winning, the RAMS played swell, We were always behind them to give them a yell. Our band marched proudly down the field, While in the air, batons were reeled. Then came the main affair of the year, For the oncoming Prom we each gave a cheer. In evening clothes we all had our fun, And next day were bathing beneath the sun. Then came the Annual for our senior year, In our hearts, it will always be held dear. Our class play was next, and to our surprise The audience praised us with tears in their eyes. At last-GRADUATION-with class night before, On our high school days we are closing the door. Gone are the days so carefree and gay, To an unknown future we are on the way. At last we stand-diplomas in hand. The proudest people in all the landr' And as the years go by on parade, B.G.H.S. schooldays never will fade. For deep in the heart of each son and daughter Lie priceless memories of their Alma Mater. Farewell forever to B.G.H.S., Three cheers for the school we know is the best!
