fpiom At last the two big nights had arrived: the Ban- quet on the 19th of May and the Prom the following night. Our theme was the 'Gay Nineties' and was carried out in menus, place cards, and other table decorations for the Banquet, and in the Dance programs for the Prom. Entertainment for the Banquet boasted a Barbershop Quartet, Flora-Dora girls and a bicycle- built-for-two. Music for the Prom was furnished by Louie Bishop. The gym was transformed into scenes of the '90 countryside complete with the saloon at one end, which was used as the stage. We all felt the effort worthwhile, especially when everyone exclaimed what a success it was. 23 Banquet
