The Bellarmine Varsity Water
Polo team, under the coaching of
Bruce Watson, underwent a
somewhat dismal season in what .
cs
has proven to be one of the school's Y
most successful sports. With no
returning lettermen from last year's
nationally ranked team, the Bells
watched their high hopes dwindle
to a disappointing record of four
wins and thirteen defeats.
The highlight of the season was
a six to four victory by the Bells
over previously unbeaten SPAL
champions Leland High.
Consistent scoring came from
Ken Favaro, Terry Reding and Drew
Levinson. Mike Fitzsimmons was
awarded team captain, Most is 1 .

Dave Kitts received the Most
Improved Player award and Jim
Favaro was awarded the Billie
Schmidt award.
