As you turn the pages of this record of a year of life in your high school, you will be re- minded of many things which will have real meaning for you through- out the years. The pride you have in the accom- plishments of your school and the part you have played in them: the friends you have made, the goals you have had along with your success- es and failures in achiev- ing them, these things weave a pattern that is your educational back- ground to this point. We are grateful for the op- portunity to be with you during these years, to en- ioy your fellowship and to be helpful when pos- sible. May God bless you and help you to maintain worthy goals toward the advancement of human good, and may you have the strength, wisdom and dedication to achieve these goals. Harlan G. Andrews Principal

This year has been a rewarding one academically, athletically a n d scholastically. These things were not ac- complished easily. Many times, you as students have been called upon to per- form almost impos- sible tasks, but you have always used your abilities and loyalties to keep Bellaire Senior High an outstanding school. lt has been a privilege to work with both the fac- ulty and students this year. May the years to come be even more success- ful and rewarding. I 1 Ivy A. Hollister Assistant Principal 117
